Botox beneath my eye line makes my malar bags look worse. So I ask what procedure I could have to reduce these particular wrinkles. My plan was to get botox regularly to prevent wrinkles. Forehead and eye area. I think fillers would also make the bag more pronounced? Ive not had fillers before. Ive heard a mini facelift ( say in ten years, not now ) would be inappropriate? Photos are of untreated face. No botox for 7 months.
Ive had slight malar bags for years successfully camouflaged with cheek filler for 2 years. I had top up filler Oct (same practitioner) then end of Nov I had Botox to crows feet and slightly under eye for the first time. Malar bags are now swollen. Reputable qualified physician who did the treatments has said to dissolve filler and refill. Im concerned however that Botox has contributed to the problem and wondering would it be best to wait until this has worn off just incase?
Received Botox injections in the crows feet region (10 units each side) for the first time. A couple weeks later malar bags/puffiness on the upper cheek appeared. I was told they would go away when the Botox wore off. It has been over a year and a half since the injections! They have not improved at all. Consulted numerous places and no one has answers, except for no way it was caused by the Botox. 30 years old, and seeking a non-invasive treatment to improve the appearance.
Hi, I had fillers (teoxan) in my malar zone in the zygomatic arch, and botox (azzalur) on my crow's feet and I was happy with the result. 1 week later I had Covid, and 1 month after I started to notice I had under eye bags that were growing every day, especially in 1 one eye, and it's been 3 months since I had the treatment. Would anyone know what treatment can I have to go back to normal? TIA.
My eyes were fine prior to Botox, I now have facial drop, bags, mallor sacks and find this has aged me 20 years, what has happened ? 1st time Botox 52 units glabella forehead & crowes feet , 10 units each side. I am angry as I know this has been to much for my eyes Will I return to normal pre Botox ?
For the last two years I have been getting Botox under my eyes. I was starting to get deep creases under my eyes not cried feet. The last 2 times that I went for Botox it was with a new doctor. She injected 10 units and 6 of them were directly below my lower lid. I now how lower eye bags that are almost unbearable and they are worse in the am. I am only 29. Is this a result of Botox? Will it get better when the Botox wears off or is it permanent since I have been getting Botox for two years?
what has happened? I had filler 2 wks prior in the outer cheek area on the arch. Then botox to open the heavy eyelid and to reduce the dip in malar/festoon area. I now have deep wrinkles when smiling, which are worse than before. I'm hoping it will wear off, or do I get more filler in the dip area.
I have previously asked about lymphatic drainage issues after botox, but after reading blogs & seeing photos on this site have realised that I have malar bags, it is fat bulging nor fluid. A actually have a deep line across both cheeks that doesn't reduce even when I smile. I definitely did not have bags before the botox. I am 4 months post treatment with no signs of improving. What can I do? if my face is stuck like this I don't know what I will do. Its the worst thing I have ever done
If a wait and see approach is advised that's what I will do, but I feel rather desperate. I'm super healthy--non smoker, non drinker, good diet, exercise and sleep. My mother does not have bags under her eyes do I don't think it's genetic. This happened suddenly after Botox in May (in Bali where I live part of the year). Goal is to return my youthful, healthy appearance through least invasive means. Thank you!
I recenetly got botox for my crows feet and a little filler right under the eye, every since the treatment I noticed my malar festoon lines are very noticeable even when I'm not smiling. Before the two treatments I could only see them (and much less then now) only when I was very tired. Could this have happened because of the filler, botox or both? How can this be fixed, its really bothering me, I think I look tired all the time now. Thank you for your answers.
