Ive had a consult with a very well regarded and competent injector. They have suggested masseter botox. I am afraid of developing jowls/marionette lines. I have a downturned mouth and full cheeks. Is there a way to look at my facial structure and determine that risk?
Hello all, In the past year, I have suddenly developed bad jowls/nasolabial folds. I can no longer look at myself and feel like I have aged beyond my years. It really affects my self confidence, so I went to a spa where they recommended that I get masseter botox. Unfortunately, while I have seen my jaw area thin out, the jowling is progressively getting worse! I am thinking of saving for a lower facelift. I am wary of losing any more facial fat. I would love professional advice. Thank you!
Hi, i had 22.5 units of botox injected in one spot each side of my masseters almost 4 months ago april 20th. Now i have jowls and marionette lines. It's so bad that i have to put face tape behind my ear to hold loose skin back that my masseters formerly held back. Now my temples especially on one side are growing huge. What do i do to get my former face back?
Hi I am 33 years, 165lbs I intend on doing this procedure when I am 150lbs. I want to achieve a snatch jawline that looks natural and I feel my right cheek looks a bit jowly and needs volume and just a bit more in my mid face under and around the nasolabial. Can I put these together the achieve more volume where I need it and thinning fat around the jawline? Would I be a good candidate? Once again I want to do this at 150. What are the suggestions,? No filler recommendations btw.
I had previously seen a doctor about masseter botox to make my face look more feminine. He talked me out of it he believed it could cause jowling and recommended kybella to under my chinand in my buccal fat. While it did slim down my jawline a little I'm still not happy. I recently had jawline filler as well that helped smooth the area out but still made me feel heavy in my lower face.Would like to try the masseter botox but afraid it will make the lower face worst or could it potentially help?
A few weeks ago I got 22 units of botox in my masseters. I am almost 41 and I already had prejowling and no chin. The dermatologist that said it would slim my face didnt tell me older women shouldnt get this. She also put 0.7 units voluma in my cheeks. My face now looks gaunt and small with sagging jowls. I dont recognize myself and look older. How can i get the botox to go away faster and what can I do to lift my face? I've heard some people's jawline never comes back. Is it true?
So as the title states, I have mini jowls forming on both sides of my face. I smoked cigarettes for about 5 years, never wore sunscreen and tanned in the sun every summer and now Im developing these ugly things. I quit smoking 3 years ago, and I have started taking my skincare more seriously and added a daily spf to my routine. What else can I do to treat them? Should I start with Botox to prevent them from sagging even more?
I underwent Accutite for my jowls along with Morpheus on my lower face/neck. For 6 weeks I was left with the inability to properly move my upper right lip when puckered or pronounced O and P words. It is slowly improving but I am now experiencing assymmetry. There is a dimple forming and my nasal labial fold is higher on the paralyzed side. I can also still feel some tenderness next to my nose. My right nostril doesnt flare the same as the left. Ive done a round of steroids. Whats next?
Dear doctor, I have noticed the lower half of my face has increased in volume. I am not sure if its because of fat gain or increase in muscle size. I am 23 years old. The first picture is from 2017 and the second picture is from this year. I want to decrease the volume of my jowls/jawline to achieve more balance in my face. Based on the pictures would I be a good candidate for buccal fat removal or could I also give masseter botox a try? Thanks in advance. Kind regards, Diana
