Hello, i have recently started getting some xeomin on my platysmal bands, although i love the results i feel like ever since i began my journey i am always getting sick-almost like strep throat symptoms. Painful to swallow and a pain that hits my ears as well. I do not know if this is a side effect but as i mentioned above is it continous for me. I have been doing this a year tops and am starting to feel a bit scared as i may be causing more harm to myself than good. I would love advice
I had Botox injections in my forehead. Within one day I started experiencing ear congestion in both ears and a little hearing loss in my left ear. Now I have read many patients having similar symptoms and professionals stating there is no correlation. I am 100% sure that there is a correlation.
My 7- 8th experience with Botox the last week of Nov 2018. Two days after injected in frown lines /crows feet (crows feet 2nd time). Woke up, cold, achy, headache, plugged left ear and disequilibrium. Today I continue to have ear problems. After 2nd week my right ear also started plugging, unplugging, crackling, issues with temperature changes. I've had antibiotics/ flonase. No relief of the disequilibrium/ ear issues. Is this related to botox? Can Botox travel to inner ear or nearby nerves?
Every few months. My ENT says its not the Botox that I get for crows feet. ENT thinks its allergy problems or Manieres disease. I just started allergy shots but Im due my Botox (6months). Ear seems great for a while now. Not sure if I should get Botox again.
An hour and half after my 2nd set of botox a knot appeared then developed into pain deep inside my jaw/ear area a few hours later, directly in front of my ear, it is aggrevated by taking/chewing/swallowing. My neurologist was out of the office since the shot, but I had a GP check it for infection, ect.., they only found slight swelling and a painful lymph node in front of my ear. I attached a photo of where the knot formed and it is gone, but the pain and slight swelling is still there.
I had Botox to my MASSETER muscle because of teeth grinding at night and 2 days later I started to have ear pain. The ear pain started In one ear and the phone went to the other. The pain is on and off and ears also feel full and blocked. It hurts when someone is talking on the phone and sometimes when I speak. Strange feelings of ears popping. I went to my doctor and he said he couldn't see anything wrong. I've never had ear problems until the Botox. Used ear drops but still the same. Will this go away?
this last week was my third botox treamtment in 4 years, withint the hour of threatment, in the forehead only, both my ears but specially the right on clogged, is been 6 days, and the doctor gave me some antibiotic drops, but my ears still the same, also, I have a lump abov the right eye brow, which is higher than the left, and I have a droopy eyelid on the left eye, sunken eyes, and I look really bad, also, a huge cyts erupted on my right cheek the next day, why this weird reaction?
