This photo is after Botox touch ups. The injector is afraid to isolate the crows feet traveling down the cheek because she fears I will lose cheek movement and have a funny smile. The lines traveling down my cheeks are the ones I would like eliminated the most, while the crows feet closer to my eyes were not bothersome to me. Any suggestions to pass on to her? Should I try filler instead of Botox? Thanks!
My doctor has included 40 units total in mesobotox procedure for both the cheeks (20 units per cheek). My cheeks got flat, my smile line is effected, i couldnt smile since months. How long does this dose take to wear off?
On average how long will it take for the muscle to regrow normal? I have had Botox injections around my crows feet by board certified doctor for over 2-3yrs. After this last injection 3 weeks ago (10 units each side). I have noticed unwanted muscle atrophy in my upper cheeks. It has created a deep line on my mid cheek and looks more defined when I smile. I have NEVER had this line before. I am 24 years old and was given 50 units (repeatedly every 4-5 months). Has the Botox migrated to my cheeks because too many units? Will this line go away?
I've always had chubbier cheeks but less volume in my upper cheek bones. When I smile, I get these lines in my upper cheek that I don't like. I feel like it makes my face look older and less youthful. Can botox help prevent this upper-cheek dimpling? Or would Sculptra in my upper cheekbone help here?
Hello, I let a dermatologist inject 22 units of botox on each side of my masseters and put a little over half a syringe of valuma in my cheeks. Now a month later my face looks older and older and laxity is worse because I'm 40. I'm attaching a before and after pic. I had it done on the 20th of last month. Is my jawline going to keep getting smaller? My cheeks are hollowing, I'm getting a double chin and jowls are worse. I just needed lift not volume. When will jaw fill back in?
Dysport user for 5-6years every 3 months from PS. I had two doses within 7 weeks 12/1/23 and 1/25/24. Crows, forehead and 11. Last dose cheeks dropped and I couldn't smile for 2 months. Much less tight now but cheeks only lift to an indent. If I smile big my neck muscles buldge and my under eye pulls up. Two in person opinions said zyg mj and mi are weakened. My cheeks are so low. My PS doesn't know why I'm having prolonged weakness. No pain during injection & both sides.
Had Botox by facial plastic 1/25. Couldn't smile for 2-3 months. Cheeks tight, shelving on cheeks, cheek bone area flat, smile not lifting, def. Not as tight now but still droopy cheeks. Been 6 months. Two in person second opinion said zygomaticus weakened. When I smile cheeks are lower on face and like round balls. See pictures. Shelving is still there but lips turning up now. Is the muscle too weakened to lift past the shelf. They are like indents. Should I see a neurologist?
Im 48 years old. I get Botox for crows feet and also had filler in the apples of my cheeks. I have a history of melasma but seem to have that fairly under control. Fraxel seems to worsen my melasma so I would like to avoid that.
Had Botox 11/1/23 and 1/24/24. (7.5 units each time/ eye). Terrible cheek drop happened a week after second dose. It's been 5 months and little to no improvement. Got second opinion and she said zygomaticus affected and 3-6 months (or more bc of double dose). Will this go away? Cheek bone area is so flat and cheeks are like balls near nasolabial folds. Dark lines under eyes. No filler in face only lips. Shelving on cheeks and the cheek won't lift past the shelf. Please help
