I am 18 years old and my hair has been receding since i was 16 years old. My beard is not fully developed yet but has progressed faster and faster simultaneously as my hair loss has worsen. This leads me to fear that when preventing hair loss I will prevent my beard development as well, which I would prefer not to. I am on my way to start taking 1 mg of finasteride per day. Thanks

21 year old male from India. Taking Finasteride 1mg/day for last 1.5 years to treat Male pattern hair loss with great regrowth and maintenance. On the other hand, I am experiencing slow beard (thick) growth and body hair thinning. Is it possible for my fully developed thick beard to thin out into a noticeable sparse beard? Have there been instances recorded by the medical community?

My dad is having a full beard... I mean Every where is bushy on his face.. My senior brother who turned 24 years recently is having full beard but his mustache is not growing though... Please what can i do to fill in this patch and to turn this vellus hair into terminal? Here are pictures of the patch.. On my right is not too patchy compared to the left... Hey! I'd like to thank whoever is taking the time to read this. I just recently turned 23 and these little hairs on the sides of my cheeks just started to appear. I'm considering using Minoxdill for facial hair growth, but am worried about the collagen reduction side effect I've been reading about. I'm worried that it may not even work!!! I feel like I have no options. I'd be totally fine with just a little stubble, it doesn't have to be ZZ top.
