My dad is having a full beard... I mean Every where is bushy on his face.. My senior brother who turned 24 years recently is having full beard but his mustache is not growing though... Please what can i do to fill in this patch and to turn this vellus hair into terminal? Here are pictures of the patch.. On my right is not too patchy compared to the left... Please i really need to fill in this patch.. I feel really shy going out cause the patch is not looking too good... Help please.. Thanks

Minoxidil and beard transplant are the only things you can do to grow facial hair. You can try minoxidil for 6 to 9 months, and if the results are not good, you should consider a beard transplant in a few years. It is a safe and permanent way to grow facial hair.

At 22, you probably have some delayed beard growth. Ask your dad when his beard filled in as he may have experienced a delayed growth as well. You can use minoxidil and see if that brings on more beard growth. I wouldn't rush to a beard transplant until you are a few years older
