Hey! I'd like to thank whoever is taking the time to read this. I just recently turned 23 and these little hairs on the sides of my cheeks just started to appear. I'm considering using Minoxdill for facial hair growth, but am worried about the collagen reduction side effect I've been reading about. I'm worried that it may not even work!!! I feel like I have no options. I'd be totally fine with just a little stubble, it doesn't have to be ZZ top.

Minoxidil and beard transplant are the only things you can do to grow facial hair. You can try minoxidil for 6 to 9 months, and if the results are not good, you should consider a beard transplant in a few years. It is a safe and permanent way to grow facial hair.
Hello and thank you for your question. From what I can tell from your photo I would say about 2000 grafts could be used. I highly recommend a in person consultation for a more accurate assessment. Best wishes to you.Dr. T
