I had a septorhinoplasty in the UK in July 2022 and my nasal bridge looks bigger than before. It looks fine sometimes and then swells up. I would have expected all swelling to have gone by now. Ill book a post-op with the surgeon soon but can anyone advise? I spent a lot and did it in the UK with hopes of no complications. Ive attached one before pic, two post surgery pics where one looks fine and another with a lot of swelling on a random day. These are recent pics
It's been 4 years since I've had my nose done. The nose bridge is silicone implant and the tip is my own cartilage. I don't know if a bug but my nose tip or if it is infected. It is a little itchy, but it doesn't hurt. I also have this wart? in my nostril, it also doesn't hurt. But I am still worried.
Most rhinoplasty swelling seems to go down the 1st couple of months in patient photos but I am almost a year post op & I look like I just came out of surgery. Could there be an infection going on? Could I be allergic to suture or something left in my nose? Is this how my nose is going to stay? When I smile my nose becomes really wide. Didnt have a wide problem or bulbous problem before.
I am in almost 3 month post rhinoplasty surgery. I had an open rhinoplasty. - I had 3 functional surgery. Septoplasty, Turbinoplasty and Nasal Valve reconstruction. And rhinoplasty (bridge-silicon+tip-donated cartilage and septum cartilage), osteotomy and bulbous tip reduction. I am Asian male who has thick skin. Last week my nose was good. But now it looks bulbous. Is there any method where I can fasten my healing process? Thank you so much
Hello, I had rhinoplasty and alarplasty 4 weeks ago and a goretex implant was used and also cartilage from ear was put in the tip. I know it is very early and my surgeon said I will see the final result after a year but I would just like to know once the swelling has gone done will my nose appear to look more projected and less bulbous? I think my nose skin is quite thick. Thank you very much
I got closed rhinoplasty, silicone to raise the bridge and ear cartilage for tip projection. It's been 2 weeks post-op and it's discouraging to see how high my radix is. My nose is too high and prominent between my eyes. I'm praying that the radix will eventually drop but it seems like all the swelling has resolved in the upper part of my nose between the eyes. I'm convinced that this is what I'm stuck with and I don't like it. My tip is looking super bulbous too... please help!
I had Asian rhinoplasty to raise bridge using rib graft. I'm really unhappy w my nose. I feel I look like gonzo. I hate the way my nasal tip seems so much longer now but I know for sure nothing was done to the tip. Now all I see is the nose. Is this swelling? Will the nose tip shrink in size?
I had an Asian rhinoplasty a week ago (tip augmentation, bridge augmentation with DCF graft, alar base reduction). When the cast came off today, my eyes looked like they had been pulled/stretched towards the bridge. So now the length of my eyes is longer, but my eyes also appear to be much closer together and it looks really odd. I was wondering if this is due to swelling (and my eyes will return to their normal length and position), or is this permanent?
