Any clue what this is & how to get rid of it? For a year+ I've had these bumps on my torso. I'm thin, no skin folds, never sweaty. Wear loose cotton clothing, rarely wear a bra. The bumps are on ribcage between breasts, & upper stomach. It often stings/itches. I've tried benzoyl perox, BHA, AHA, hydrocortizone, Desonide, tretinoin, Hibiclens, Cerave, Mupirocin, Xolegel, doxycycline, Keflex, Spiro, zinc soap, erythromycin, etc...nothing helps. Any ideas?
I was prescribed Accutane 20mg for 2wks then increased to 40mg for a month and then 60mg. My skin began to get extremely itchy and I see dry red patches mostly below my butt and my legs. Hydrocortisone n lotion only help for 1-2hours before they itch again. Told my derm and she put me back on 40mg. Now (4mths in), the dry patches still itch n still there, and I'm also suffering from vaginal dryness. Should I stop Accutane?? If not, will all of these go away after I'm done with Accutane??
Whilst I was on my second cycle of Roaccutane my lips became extremely chapped. Immediately I stopped R, I noticed balms were not helping but only adding to the problem, my lips got severe the more I applied products containing Lanolin & petroleum which were ok to use b4 this. Medication: Clotrimazol & Triamcinolone Previously:Hydrocortizone, Clotrimazol (used together for 3 weeks) Clioquinol (2 weeks) no improvements & Ampho-moronal lozenges (1 week) stopped the peeling inside of the mouth.
I'm currently on 30mg of accutane - 2 1/2 months into my treatment. I've had mild leg/arm rash for much of the treatment which I've been treating with cortisone cream, however the rash on my leg has worsened. The skin is lumpy, scaly and a strange brownish colour in places. This morning it was lightly oozing (probably where I had foolishly scratched.) It's very sore. Is this normal? I've tried taking a picture but the skin was less inflamed after my shower and it's hard to capture on camera.
I am on my second month of accutane, and my dermatologist has upped my dosage to 40mg to 60mg, and I am noticing that I had been getting somesort of rash pn my legs. I tried putting hydrocortisone 1% on it but t made me feel like my skin was burning.
