So i am on my 1week of roacutane 40mg/dayand after 4 days of using my face started to be very red and hot.I was reading on the internet about this problem and as i can see it is side effect of roacutane but the problem is that everyone is saying that their face is hot and red like 1 hourMy face is red and hot 24/7 it never cools down i am using eucerin ph5 Hautschuts This 3 days i was all day home never on the sun so its not from the sun.Doesnanyone know is it normal to be red and hot 24/7 or no
Hi I've only been on accutane for 5 days and my entire face is extremely red, patchy and very dry. I've tried applying creamy moisturiser constantly but the redness doesn't go down. What's going on? Shall I continue the treatment? I'm on 20mg per day.
On day 4 I got really watery diarrhea and extreme bloating, I lit looked 9 m pregnant (I am not prego ofc). My stomach is making noises all the time, like rumbling and bubbling. My face is pinkish and extremely itchy, feels sunburnt (I have not been exposed to sun). It is day 6 now, still bloated and with minor diarrhea. I want to stop taking the meds, bcs I don't want to be bloated and ruin my guts. Is it safe to stop after 6 days? Did I do permanent damage to my intestines? Pls answer :(
I started on Accutane ten days ago for moderate/mild but persistant acne, and within 2 days my face was bright red - almost orangey in colour. It stops at jawline, and is both itchy and hot: flushing up really really hot at times but always a totally different colour to my body or neck. I've looked online and a number of sources say that sometimes it stays that way permanently. I'm really scared now: as it is I'm not sure I can handle the redness (the acne was mild), but will it be forever?
