I employ the Brazilian Cellulite Treatment, in addition to liposuction, to sculpt and improve the thighs, hips, and buttocks. Raffy Karamanoukian Los Angeles
Cellulaze is the FDA approved one time definitive treatment for cellulite. Cellulaze utilizes a 1440 nm wavelength laser to accomplish 3 things: 1) melt away fat bulging out 2) break up fibrous septae (attachments) that create the indentations and 3) help thicken the dermis (skin) to prevent future recurrence. The procedure can take between 60-90 minutes and can be completed under local or just IV sedation (depending on the length of your procedure and number of areas being treated). To see your final results takes between 3-6 months. You can visit the cellulaze . com website to learn more about the procedure. Best of luck! Dr. Basu Houston, TX
The Cellulaze procedure will not cause a loss in inches but will help to tighten the skin. When the skin becomes more firm it will help for clothes to fit better which may feel as though you have lost inches.
Though we don't commonly take measurements of patients prior to Cellulaze, many patients have reported that once the swelling has resolved that clothes fit better than and they seem to have an overall reduction in the circumference of their thighs. (this is seen most commonly in patients that are treated circumferentially--around the entire thigh) A reduction in size or inch loss is not the primary goal or focus of Cellulaze but in it is something we have seen. We are not removing fat during the procedure, so most likely this effect comes from the combination of smoothing of contours and skin tightening.
I have not found this to be the case. With the many cases of Cellulaze that I have done, I have found that it assists with some skin tightening over time but not in losing inches. Liposuction may help someone lose inches because fat is removed. Minimal fat removal is done with Cellulaze. Good Question!
Cellulazeis definitely the most effective treatment for cellulite in the United States but does not removal fat. Cellulazeis definitely the most effective treatment for cellulite in the United States. It is a one time treatment that uses a small laser fiber inserted under theskin through tiny incisions to tighten the skin and divide the fibrous bandsthat cause dimpling. Unlike other available cellulite treatments, Cellulazedoes not require multiple treatments or maintenance treatments. Hope this help, good luck!

I have found the Brazilian Cellulite Treatment to be a longlasting solution for cellulite and have seen excellent results with the process. Raffy Karamanoukian, Los Angeles
It's normal to still experience some lumps and firmness of the treated areas at 3 weeks post treatment. I advise my patients to start lymphatic drainage massage therapy which helps reduce the swelling and indurations. It may take 6 to 8 weeks for the bumps to go away. At 3 weeks post Cellulaze...
Cellulaze may work to tighten skin, but it is not the primary treatment for skin tightening. Newer approaches using Ulthera, Fractional CO2, and Yag laser are all other options. Raffy Karamanoukian, Los Angeles
