Breast lift or just gummy bear breast augmentation? (Photo)

Question

36F, 2 c sections 10’ & 22’ I become obese when pregnant when not my weight stays stable now with a stable weight after losing 90 lbs in 12’ and then 70 recently I’m choosing lipo TT, breast aug gummy bear, round 415cc im lucky I had always had good muscle tone & skin bounces back. I had a few consults & all says I’m not in need of a lift that it’s upper volume loss barely grade 1 ptosis. Just wanting to get some more expert opinions thanks.

A side view would be helpful, but based on the images and information provided, it seems that breast augmentation alone could be a suitable option for you. Given your good skin tone and mild grade 1 ptosis, gummy bear implants should restore volume and enhance the shape of your breasts without the need for a lift. This would help with the upper fullness and give you a more youthful appearance, although it may not fully address the nipple position or any minimal sagging. If you're comfortable with a slight amount of sag, this could provide a natural-looking result with a reduced recovery time.
However, if you're aiming for a more "perky" appearance and want to address nipple position or skin laxity more effectively, a breast lift combined with the augmentation would likely provide the best outcome. This would reposition the nipple and remove any excess skin, creating a firmer, lifted shape. If you are unsure, it its worth continuing with consultations to ensure your expectations align with the results.

Dear Sincere167773, thanks for sharing your questions and concerns, after evaluating your case if you are looking just volume breast augmentation with implants will solve this, but due to the position of your nipple under the inframammary fold and this little ptosis you look like a great candidate for breast augmentation with implants rather than lift with this you can ensure long term perky results. determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.

Breast will look more natural and still sit a little low overall.

They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You do not need a breast lift. Implants are an alternative and are not lifetime devices. Another alternative for you to consider, since you are choosing liposuction, is fat transfers. This will give you some upper pole fullness, if that is what you desire. Also, you can undergo a donut mastopexy to pull in some lack skin. If you want implants, I recommend small implants placed submuscularly.
