I'm not a fan of injections on my lower face. I would like a touch up on a lifestyle lift that was done 11 years ago. My marionette lines are what bothers me and jowls. I've had the injections but don't want that I rather do the mini lower facelift touch up if possible. I am soon to be 57 years old.
Answer: Can I Have a Touch Up Lower Face Lift? – New Procedures OK 10 Years Later Yes, it is absolutely fine to do a lower face lift to continue the good results you had from your lifestyle lift 11 years ago. Surgery will always give you the most dramatic and long-lasting results rather than trying to add volume and lift with dermal fillers. A lower lift will address your jowls and also tighten up your jawline and neckline. As for your marionette lines, the mini lift will smooth them out to some degree but if they are very deep you may still need a hyaluronic-acid based filler to even them out. I hope this helps.

CONTACT NOW Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Find the right solution to address your concerns with marionette lines and jowls The aging process involves 3 things: downward decent from facial soft tissue laxity, skin surface aging characterized by wrinkles and discoloration, and loss of volume especially in the cheek area. Failure to treat all three may make you more aware of what is not treated: in your case the lower commissures, marionette lines and jowls.. You only have already explored a facelift. Volume corrective procedures with fillers will help to a small degree but it would appear that the remaining factor, skin redundancy is still the major cause for your concern. In that case a min-facelift such as the MACS, LiteLift, LifeStyle, S-lift etc by a qualified board certified plastic surgeon would help you the most.Probably most important is the skill and experience of the surgeon. Always check out his/her before and after photos and ask to see long term results and most of all that he is trained and a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Face lift after "lifestyle" lift Without pictures or clinical evaluation it would be hard to give you good suggestion. However, we all know that type of face lift you had in the past is of very short duration and "real" face/neck lift needs to be done very soon after that procedure in most patients. If you had a good result for 11 years that is exceptional! I would suggest a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with solid reputation in face lift surgery to discuss your goals and options. Good luck.
