I have just finished accutane and wondered if I can have laser removal on my old semi permanent eyebrows. I understand the minimum time to wait is 3 months but is this still the case for this type of laser? And Wat is likely to happen if I was to get it done sooner? My old semi permanent eyebrows have not faded after 4 years and I really want them removed asap for an upcoming event! Thank you

Answer: Eyebrow tattoos removing eyebrow tattoos is tricky. These can darken before they go away. Also the type of ink used can be different and more difficult to remove. Accurate can cause scarring and impairs wound healing. Do not do it any sooner. Often times, people are advised to wait 6 months so that they do not develop scarring or problems while on or exposed to accurate.

Answer: NO ! I make my patients wait a minimum of 6 months before laser tattoo removal and honestly most I have wait a year. Accutaine makes you much more prone to adverse reactions burns scars etc and this is your face we are talking about. Second A photo would be good I always spot test cosmetic ink like brows because there are substances in that ink that can oxidize with the laser and turn color. Black is much less likely to do this but reds, oranges some browns become a darker color and hard to remove. Test the small corner with a single laser pop and see if it changes. It will change very quickly if there is going to be a bad reaction.
