I'm concerned about my uneven ribs & bone in center of breast. I'm 32A wanting a C. What would you recommend for me? (photo)

Absolutely! You are a candidate for breast augmentation and camoflauging the slight differences.  You need someone who is specialized in complex breast cases.  Do your research and look at lots of pictures.  Good Luck!

Most women considering breast augmentation have a variety of asymmetries that we take into account at surgery.Common asymmetries:Chest wall/rib/sternum-  There are often bony asymmetries.Muscle-- the dominant pectoral muscle is usually thickerBreast volume- Commonly differentSkin- Breast often sag differentlyNipple height- Often different especially after child bearing.I see each of these asymmetries every day. Generally they fall under the category of what I call " normal natural asymmetries".Some asymmetries are best addressed, some are best left alone if the treatment may draw more attention to them.In my own practice I call thinking about these asymmetries "balancing breasts", with the goal to make the breasts as close as possible. You must also be realistic, while we strive for perfect symmetry breasts are rarely identical before or after surgery. The old saying is true-- Breasts are sisters, not twins.Share your concerns with your plastic surgeon and he or she should be able to give you a sense of the trade offs, options, and what can be realistically accomplished.Best wishes.

Unevenness
in the ribs is a very common concern among women seeking breast implants (no
one has a perfectly symmetrical body anyway) so a skilled, board certified
plastic surgeon should not have a problem improving symmetry during
augmentation even if there are some differences between sides before surgery.
As for the sternum visibility in the middle of your chest, breast implants
won’t bring the breasts closer together or cover the bony area; they only add
volume. The right bra can help push the breasts upward and together to give you
more coverage/cleavage. You may want to seek out a surgeon who offers 3D
imaging so you can see exactly how implants will address both of your concerns.

Thank you for your question, rib and chest wall asymmetry are very common in the general population. When this asymmetry is significant, careful planning especially with the aid of Vectra 3-D imaging is extremely helpful preoperatively. Based on your description and your photo, you seem to be a very good candidate for breast augmentation using Sientra shaped silicone breast implants. Please look for a board-certified plastic surgeon with expertise in this procedure.

It is difficult to see your issues from the photo you posted, but I will say that everyone is asymmetric and these differences can be take into account when implants are chosen. The asymmetry may be improved but not corrected perfectly.

Rib cage anomalies are not uncommon especially in thin women with scoliosis.  There is nothing that can be done about these structural problems except to note them and understand that they will affect overall symmetry.  Otherwise you should be a good candidate for a breast augmentation

Hello, Thanks for your question. You do have a breast asymmetry, but it's not as severe as you think. There are different ways to treat asymmetries, and it involves a lot of the surgeon's creativity. Some may opt for placing an implant of the right one, and perform a mild lift on the left with a smaller implant. Another option could be lowering your right breast sulcus a little bit, placing the same implant on both breasts and taking some of the left breast tissue out.Again, this is a case to be analyzed on a personal consultation, so the options can be thoroughly explained to you. For a better answer, it would be best to see a photo with both of your arms relaxed. Hope this answers your question.
