Dental Xray Seven Weeks Post Op Breast Augmentation

I have to get digital dental xrays seven weeks out from my breast augmentation and lift. Could this cause any problems? My wounds around my areola are still healing and I am afraid something might happen. Will the lead vest protect me from the radiation?

Occasionally this will occur after breast augmentation.  It may be from the skin preparation soap for surgery or the stretching from the implants.  Steroid creams and antibiotics sometimes help minocycline 100 mg once per day.

I think that your plastic surgeons plan is good one.  If the values remain low, a hematologic work up is indicated. There is likely nothing specific that you can do to make the value normal.

The short answer to this question is that "it's complicated". The reason is that a 285cc implant looks different on different body types even with the same height and breast size. That being said, 285cc's is a very conservative choice and certainly smaller than the average size implant....

Breasts can grow with time and fluctuate, especially in response to weight change.  However, you should also be careful to rule out anything serious, and get it checked by your regular doctor and probably get a mammogram as well.
