I was happy 1st 6 months after rhino but skin thickened & lost definition, should I put glycolic on my nose to thin skin?

my nose only ever looks great after kenalog injections and obviously I cannot get these forever, My skin is super thick and looked amazing first 6 months. Now I can't see any definition it's just a blob and the tip has dropped and the nose overall looks a different shape, my nostrils even look bigger.

Thanks for the question. You should be able to go on vacation by 1-2 weeks after your surgery. But this is valid only with assuming postoperative recovery is uneventful. If any unexpected incident happens in your treatment process, this time can be extended or shortened. I wish you all the best.

You are doing all that you can for now, and the graft is still in the maturation process 5 months later. You may want to talk to your surgeon about procedures such as dermabrasion and laser resurfacing a few months down the road to further refine the result and get better camouflage of the graft.

Thanks for the question. Your surgeon is certainly correct. Not matter what change you are seeking with a rhinoplasty, there is some uncertainty. So a lifting of the columella is no different. It is likely to be improved, and you are likely to be satisfied with the result.
