You would need to be examined to determine the best course of action to treat the bump on your lip after injury, but it is possible that it could be surgically improved. This would be a fairly minor procedure that could be done in the office under local anesthesia.
After trauma, the bump maybe cause by either excesses scar tissue or a mucocele. A mucocele is a cyst caused by entrapment of a mucous gland that isn't properly draining. This could've been caused by the trauma that you received to the lip. The scar tissue or the mucocele could be fairly easily excised. See a facial plastic surgeon for further evaluation. It probably isn't too difficult to take of.
You will need to be evaluated in person for a specific answer but usually this type of bump can be removed with a short office procedure. This is likely scar tissue but could be a post-traumatic cyst. A consultation should answer all of those questions for you. The only method to remove silicone injected into the lip would be to surgically remove it. I have not found injection of steroids into the area to be a long term solution.
