Can I fix it with micro needling and face massage/ exercise?
Answer: Laugh Lines / Nasolabial Folds - Fillers + Sculptra, Lasers like Fraxel/Clear + Brilliant, Radiofrequency, Peels, Skin Care I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion (J Plasma), thread lifting, and peels to get the most conservative, natural look. I suggest seeing a facial sculpting expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Recommend doing Morpheus8 which is a combination of microneedling and radio frequency to help tighten the skin Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Filler A deep nasolabial fold would be more amenable to filler. Microneedling is a skin treatment designed to improve skin tone, texture, pore size, and color.

Answer: Nasolabial folds Thank you for your question and for providing your photo. Please keep in mind that an in office consultation is best for receiving a thorough treatment plan. Microneedling is a great procedure to treat texture and tone of the skin and to stimulate collagen production. This will result in smoother, brighter skin but unfortunately due to volume loss, nasolabial folds that you see will not be treated with microneedling. The better alternative is restoration of volume using fillers. You can take it a step further and use filler in combination with microneedling with platelet rich plasma (PRP). PRP is used to also stimulate further collagen production and improvement of skin tone and texture.
