I have a very low hairline which I have always been self conscience about. I am considering electrolysis but want to know if its even strong enough to get rid of hair along the hairline. What would be my best options?

The best option for a low hairline is a her line racing with or without brow lift. This is one surgery and minimal discomfort for one  evening. Electrolysis is multiple sessions of painful hair removal and is not as immediate or reliable as raising your hairline. See a very experienced surgeon who does this.

Please see a physician specializing in hair medicine to also understand your potential risks for androgenetic hair loss in the future.  Some women choose not to modify their hairline if they are at increased risk for genetic hair loss. These are bigger decisions that one might first surmise.
