I have recieved mixed opinions on whether or not I have a form of TBD, and I would like to open it up here for more clarity. The reason that has been suggested is due to the irregular shape, high fold, asymmetry and the appearance of less tissue in the bottom of the breasts than in the fuller, rounder tops. This makes the underside appear flat when standing. It also gives the appearance of less area between the nipple and bottom crease than the top when laying down. Thanks.
Answer: Wondering if I have mild or type one tuberous/tubular breasts? Hello @Bobsdog thank you for your question and showing your pictures. Yes I do see that your breast has the characteristics of tubular breast and saggy the areolas are divergent, Therefore, I would suggest a breast lift coupled with implants, as this will enhance the natural look of the breast and meet your expectations. With this procedure, excess skin will be removed and volume can be added to the breast. In a breast lift, the areola and nipple are lifted, the breast shape is improved either by reorganizing the breast or, if necessary, a prosthesis is placed to add volume. The amount of breast tissue changes proportional to weight, pregnancy, lactation, heredity, or hormonal changes. Before The plastic surgeon must assess the individual characteristics of the patients breasts, as well as the general condition of the woman for the correct indication of the intervention.

Answer: Do I have tuberous breasts? From your photos it does not appear you have tuberous breasts, but do have ptosis (sagging). A breast lift would remove excess skin and raise the nipple position. If you are unhappy with volume, that could be addressed as well.

Answer: Tuberous breasts Thanks for your question! I don't think your breasts are tuberous. However, I do think the shape and appearance could be improved with a lift or reduction depending on your goals. Good luck!

Answer: Bellesoma Method I do not believe your have tuberous breast disease. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Tuberous breasts Dear Bobsdog, tuberous breasts are not simply small or underdeveloped breasts. The appearance of the breast can range from mild to severe, and typical traits include: enlarged, puffy areola, rather wide spacing between the breasts, very little breast tissue, sagging, higher than normal inferior breast fold, and narrow base at the chest wall. The type of surgery best for you will depend on the severity of your condition. My preferred technique for tuberous breast correction involves a multistep procedure where the breast tissue is released in a radial pattern to prevent herniation into the areola and placement of a custom implant size is in the breast to allow appropriate expansion of the breast in the restricted dimensions. This can often be done in a single procedure but sometimes may require two surgeries. That said, it is best that you visit a board-certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
