I will be looking for a surgeon for a mommy makeover (breast lift, tummy tuck, lipo and small bbl) I would also like to have my thighs done during this process. I do not like the rippling and jiggling on the inside of my thighs. Would I be a candidate for Renuvion or SkinTyte which I would prefer over a lift. I really dont want a T scar with a thigh lift. Would a groin incision be possible? Is this too much for one time? What is your advice? Thanks all.
Answer: VASER HI DEF 4D LIPO / 360 Degree Sculpture / Body Contouring / HD Sculpting With Fat Transfer and Tummy Tuck / Mommy Makeover For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I use VASER HI DEF with ThermiRF/J Plasma/Renuvion/InMode BodyTite and fat grafting to get the most fat removal, skin tightening, contour and definition. This combination will give you the most toned result. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a hi definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Legs Renuvion or other radiofrequency skin tightening would probably be helpful with liposuction. Micro-needling with radiofrequency could be added later to boost the skin tightening even more. I would suggest not doing all those procedures at one time.

Answer: Renuvion, SkinTyte, or Thigh Lift for rippling and jiggling- advice? There are a few issues presented in these questions. The unrealistic nature of having too many areas of surgery in 1 setting because the complications risks significantly increase, the recovery is over 1 month. Also the potential blood loss would require transfusions. Second issue is using minimally invasive or non invasive technology to attain an acceptable results, especially where excision/lifting surgery or only liposuction alone might offer a better result. This patient needs/requires IN PERSON consultations only because there needs to be full understanding/informed consents so no unhappiness occurs.

Answer: Liposuction things to consider Liposuction is not a good procedure for jiggly thighs in middle aged women. First of all thighs are technically difficult because it contour changed a lot with patients are laying on their back which is almost certain during the procedure. taking out fat will make the loose skin looser. If the surgeon knows what they’re doing they will not cause problems with contour irregularities but the contour also doesn’t improve very much because of the skin laxity. we simply don’t have a great skin for women who have flabby thighs. Liposuction can make size slightly smaller in size but it doesn’t make them look better and it doesn’t make the skin tight. Liposuction can give stellar results on the torso upper extremities chin and a few other areas. There is however a big difference in skill and experience among providers even board-certified plastic surgeons with a few years and there’s a belt and an overall good reputation sometimes I’m not particularly good at Liposuction. I met more than a few plastic surgeons who despise doing the procedure and will only do it to take the money. Are you sure you these providers have not and will never master body contouring using liposuction. The key is to find the one plastic surgeon who really knows how to do the procedure well consistently and takes Liposuction very seriously. Best way in my opinion to find the right provider for this permanent and irreversible procedure is to have multiple in person consultations. During the consultation ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures. simply being shown a few sample pictures which most likely represent the best result of the providers career is insufficient to have a clear understanding of an average results look like in the hands of each provider. this is why patients need to serve as self advocate and properly vet the plastic surgeon by asking them to open up their portfolio of before and after pictures and show all of them or at least as many as they’re willing to. Ask providers to show as many pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own. Ask them to show examples of excellent outcomes, average outcomes unless then outcomes. We all have them. Have them to review the results and show you specifically the areas that were treated in the areas that were not treated. Look carefully at every picture for any evidence of skin contour regularity. There should be none. Look carefully at transition zones between treated and on treated areas. an experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures for a common procedure like abdominal liposuction. highly experienced providers will have hundreds or even thousands. On my phone my album that says abdomens has 1600 pictures in its. each one is one set of before and after pictures. I’ve also done over 8000 liposuction procedures in my career. Providers should be excited about doing the procedure. They should be able to clearly explain why or why not you should expect the type of results they are describing. when it comes to candidacy for this procedure patients come in the full range. I turned on people on a daily basis for being poor or non-candidates for the procedure. This is typically due to skin laxity or other issues being the problem rather than excess subcutaneous fat. Al so meet patients who are ideal candidates and these other ones I really hope we’ll sign up for surgery With me. I sometimes describe patients who are ideal candidate for Liposuction as being a “Young tight pudgy”. Avoid virtual consultations whenever possible and try to stay local and not travel long distances for elective surgical procedures. Continue having more consultations until you feel quite certain you found the right provider for the procedure you’re interested in. Some providers are better at some procedures than others. In my case I gave up all other plastic surgery procedures except liposuction and fat transfer 10 years ago. I doubt I could do a facelift very well today but my liposuction and fat transfer results are typically far better than my colleagues who do general plastic surgery. Some of this advice is applicable to any plastic surgery procedure but Liposuction seems unique and how much variation there is in outcomes from surgeon to surgeon despite having appropriate credentials. It’s also a procedure they can seriously lead patients to be disfigured and this is irreversible when done poorly. With most other procedures a talented surgeon can revise a bad outcome but with Liposuction once all of the fat has been removed there is a little a second surgeon can do to fix the problem. In regards to Renuvion I purchased a device a few years ago right after it came out. Are used to device for a year. Not a single one of my patients felt that their skin was improved and they literally did not see any improvement or skin tightening on a single patient. I did scientific measurements to measure skin tightening and there was zero. There was literally no measurable or visible skin tightening on a single patient that I did the procedure on them. What I did notice that patients who had Renuvion had significantly increased pain during and after the procedure. I do not recommend this device and would stay away from those who are trying to sell you want it. I really wanted it to work because I wanted to offer something to those patients who do well with Liposuction but still had skin laxity and didn’t want a surgical procedure like a tummy tuck. They simply could not honestly recommend using the device or charging patients money for it knowing that it didn’t deliver. I recently spent $100,000 on the device it was hoping to at least break even or get my money back but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I cut my loss and got rid of the device at a major financial loss and feel content that there is no conflict in me recommending things that truly are not in my patience best interest. Find the right provider and everything falls into place. Download for some special technique for the name of the right device. It isn’t the equipment that makes great plastic surgeons great. It is simply skill, knowledge and an ethical standard with a commitment to excellence them makes The best plastic surgeons great. Good luck, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Thigh liposuction and Renuvion skin tightening Dear B, Any procedure will not take away all the movement of your inner thighs, since muscles naturally move, especially when relaxed. The skin and fat above the muscle can be liposuctioned and the skin can be tightening either with Renuvion through little dot incisions or a larger incision thigh lift. An in person exam and consultation is the next best step to decide what is best for you. Thank you. DrBrecht Seattle, Wa
