I had renuvion with lipo in dec 2020. I had post lymph massages and they said they felt some lumps so starting doing carboxy treatments. As time went by I started noticing lumps (not hard but soft ) in my stomach. I had see the dr again and he said it was from the j plasma so he revision it in sept 2021. The lumps have not went away and my skin. Feels and looks loose. And purple/pink color. What happened here? What can I do to get rid of this
Answer: Abdomen You could get some improvement with Sculptra injections, diluted and done about 2 months apart. It may take several vials to treat the whole abdomen. I would suggest going to someone who treats a fair amount of scarring with Sculptra. The discoloration is from the heat of the J plasma energy on the skin. Once the skin is more smooth, it might improve. Otherwise, cosmetic tattooing, not artistic, when you have no tan could be considered. I would do a small area first to see.

Answer: Post-Liposuction After Care -- Compression, Lymphatic Massage, Hyperbaric Oxygen, Radiofrequency (Venus Legacy, Exilis, Forma) You're on the right track with aftercare protocol. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding Vanquish for further fat removal; truSculpt iD, Exilis, Forma, and Venus Legacy for additional skin tightening; and Cellutone / ZWave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. It will take 6 to 12 months to see the final outcome. Ultimately, if you are unhappy with your results, please speak to your physician and ensure that he/she was a full body VASER Hi-Definition liposuction physician with extensive experience in contouring and body shaping -- and not just traditional fat reduction. You can always get a revision procedure by an expert if needed. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Poor outcome from Liposuction Your provider lacks skill and experience to deliver quality Liposuction results. You were treated aggressively and left with an uneven fat distribution. I purchased Renuvion when it first came out and used it for a year but literally saw only complications and increased postoperative pain. I have since gotten rid of a device and do not recommend it. I think your outcome is more related to your surgeon lacking Liposuction skill. Uneven treatment combined with heavy-handed aggressive approach. Unfortunately there is little that can be done to correct this type of outcome. I continue to stress the importance of properly vetting plastic surgeons before committing to having permanent and irreversible procedures. Delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction results is far more difficult than people believe. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
