I have some exess skin on my upper arms because of weight loss but I also have some fat as well on those areas. Actually I don’t necessarily want them to be thinner, I’d be happy if I can get them to be more tighter.
Answer: Coolsculpting Fat Removal - add Vanquish, trusculpt iD, Cellutone, EVIVE, ZWave -- “Fire and Ice” Non Surgical Fat Reduction If you have small problem areas you can use non invasive methods like Coolsculpting with Vanquish or trusculpt iD to get small areas of fat reduced. Skin also tightens if you combine this with Exilis Ultra, Venus Legacy, and Inmode Forma/Contoura radiofrequency treatments. You boost the results from Coolsculpting if you add in Kybella injections to melt fat as well. We often combine Coolsculpting with shock therapy like ZWave, EVIVE, and Cellutone to get even faster results, more improvement, and less risk of combinations like nodules, swelling, neuropathy or paradoxical hyperplasia. Coolsculpting often takes a few treatments separated 8 to 12 weeks apart to get significant improvement. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a body contouring and hi-definition physique expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Arms Renuvion could be helpful to tighten your skin. Also, weight training or EMSculpt to build muscle could be very helpful as well.

Answer: Using Renuvion Renuvion is meant to be used after liposuction. After fat has been removed there are natural tunnels that allow the Renuvion cannula to be passed through the tissues closer to the skin surface. Doing the procedure without previous Liposuction it’s a fairly traumatic process. I purchased this equipment when it first came out and used it for about a year. I literally saw no skin tightening on any of the patients I treated and could not in good conscience recommend it to anyone. I have since sold the equipment at a great loss. I wish I never purchased my j plasma equipment. The procedure does not deliver skin tightening. Liposuction works well but it only creates arm size reduction and does not create much skin tightening. In reality there is no skin tightening option that actually works other than direct surgical excision. Either do liposuction if you want smaller arms, have a proper arm lift with the scar that comes with it or live with the skin laxity. I’m sure all the providers who are still using the device and trying to recoup their cost will differ in their opinion. My opinion is just that. But in my opinion the device is fraud. This device was developed and intended to treat and gynecological condition and was re-marketed for cosmetic purposes because of inappropriate peoples belief that it could create skin tightening. Eventually secondhand markets like eBay will be flooded with low-cost J plasma devices just like earlier rounds of highly touted skin tightening devices like smart Liposuction. Smart Lipo lasers that claimed to tighten skin can now be had for pennies on the dollar. The medical community has realized they do not deliver and nobody wants them anymore. this too will happen to J plasma. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
