Masseter Botox effects can sometimes last up to 8 months. Usual duration of Botox/Dysport effects is 3-6 months.
Hi, I’m Lauren, the aesthetic injector here at Colorado Plastic Surgery Center. It is typically recommended to get re-treated every 90 days with Botox or Dysport.
Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. Botox and Dysport are both popular neuromodulators used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause them. Typically, the effects of these treatments last anywhere from three to six months, depending on various factors, including the individual's metabolism, the area treated, and the dosage used. While it is uncommon for Botox or Dysport to last over a year, there are instances where patients report extended effects beyond the typical duration. This can be influenced by several factors, such as the patient’s muscle strength, the precision of the injection technique, and the specific area treated. For some individuals, especially those who have been using neuromodulators regularly over time, the muscles may become less responsive, leading to a more prolonged effect. However, it's important to approach such cases with caution. The standard recommendation is to plan for maintenance treatments every three to six months to maintain optimal results. I hope this helps and best of luck!
Hello,In my experience, the effects of Botox or Dysport typically last between three to six months. However, some patients may experience results that last slightly longer, depending on individual factors such as metabolism, lifestyle, and the area treated. It's uncommon for these treatments to last over a year, but in rare cases, some patients might notice subtle effects extending beyond the usual timeframe. Regular follow-ups and treatments can help maintain the desired results.
Hi, unfortunately none of the botulinum toxins that are available will last a year or more. Most of them last 3-6 months, it all depends on the metabolism of the patient, dose, and technique used during the procedure. What I can relate (experience based), is that Dysport is the one that last longer in my patients
Typically Dysport and Botox last about three or four months. For some patients it can last six months or longer. It would be unusual for it to last over a year. I encourage you to visit with an expert injector near you to learn more.
Hello,4-6 months,it doesn’t last for 1 year. Some patients who use minimal facial expressions claim that the effect lasts for 8-10 months, or even a year, but as stated in the official guidelines, such a thing is not actually possible.
Thank you for your question, what you're describing is a relatively common side effect known as brow ptosis or a “heavy shelf,” which can occur when Botox affects the frontalis (forehead) muscle unevenly. This happens when: The upper frontalis is treated, but the lower portion is spared, cau...
I recommend injecting 3 units of Botox into DAO(depressor anguli oris) muscles on each side to try to correct this issue.
The muscle into which Botox (Botulinum toxin) was applied is likely the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi (LLSAN) muscle. This muscle is commonly targeted for aesthetic procedures, such as treating gummy smiles, by injecting botulinum toxin A into it to reduce the elevation of the upper lip...
