I had a previous post regarding weight loss and breast rippling, I was curious to know if it is possible to transfer fat to the breasts while having implants. I loved my more full breasts when I couldn’t feet them and the fullness was more of my own fat. I have become very aware of the implants and can feel them more as to when I had more fat I never felt them to be foreign to my body. Is going under the muscle an option for ripples on he Cleavage area.
Answer: Rippling Placing the implants behind the muscle is usually the best choice to minimize the risk of ripples. A fat transfer can also be done to help hide the ripples.

Answer: Fat Yes, you can inject fat over implants. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified, Double Fellowship-Trained Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Fat Transfer to the Breasts with Implants in place. Yes, this an option. Placing fat in areas of need is very satisfying and works in the face of breast implants. In our practice, this is performed under safe local anesthesia. The fat is placed superficial to the breast implants. The placement of fat above the implant avoids injury to the implant and provides more coverage of natural tissue over the implant.

Answer: Follow-up: Is it possible to perform a fat transfer over implants? Moving your implants under the muscle may not be a choice if your surgeon cut the muscle to make room for your implants. So, fat transfer may be your only option. Fat transfer to the cleavage should improve fullness and rippling. I hope it works for you!Best wishes and kind regards.

Answer: Fat transfer Dear Cristinajjj, fat transfer breast augmentation is a viable alternative for women who desire larger breasts without the use of implants. Fat transfer is also widely used in reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy or lumpectomy. It can also be very effective in correcting the size and shape of the breasts due to genetic problems such as tuberous breast or Poland Syndrome, two conditions that look like misshapen or underdeveloped breasts. In addition, the following scenarios are also reason to consider breast fat grafting:• If you have chest areas that appear creased and sunken• If you desire more permanent correction than is provided by temporary fillers• If you wish to improve your body contour, revise scars, fill bodily depressions and rejuvenate the natural curve of your breasts• To fill in contour irregularities or hide obvious signs of breast implantsYou should discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon and make sure your surgeon understands your concerns and your breast augmentation goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
