When do I see finial results for a canthoplasty surgery?

Hey,, I had lower eyelid surgery 16 days ago to lift my lower eyelid as there was white showing but it looks smaller than my right eye.when would I see finial results? ? Do surgeons usually match the other eye or do they correct the lower eye?? In my right lower eye lid u can see some one but my left eye had more eye showing..im 23 years old im very depressed n worried plz help

Canthal surgery is absolutely fabulous when used appropriately.  It unfortunately has become the fashion to perform canthal surgery thinking that it aesthetically benefits the patient.  In truth, it is not a cosmetic procedure, it is a reconstructive procedure.  It is performed when it is clear that the eyelid needs more support.  The effects of these surgeries take month to be clear.  Just a little swelling in the corner can alter the appearance.  Generally you are going to have to be patient and wait 4 to 6 months to have a clear idea of your result.

At 16 days postop, you are still healing and may have swelling which distorts the shape. If you have thicker skin, this can take time to resolve. Please be patient. You can discuss your concerns with your surgeon at your next postoperative visit.
