I had 30 units of Botox in my forehead and “11’s” area. My dr put way too much in my forehead and way to low for my “11’s” and my left eye has strain and pupil dilation. It feels weird. I’m scared. Will this go away? It’s been 5 weeks!
Answer: Botox/Xeomin/Dysport & Pupil Dilation--Results Resolve in 3-4 months This isn't typical with Botox. If it persists, I recommend following up with your Doctor or an Ophthalmologist. Botox results resolve in 3-4 months. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Botox and Pupil Size Thanks for your question. Your symptoms are unusual with too much botox but you never really know. Please see your injector. The great thing about botox is that it is temporary. You may benefit from some temporary constricting eye drops. Please see your injector and if your questions are not answered, see an ophthalmologist. Best!

Answer: Botox and eye strain Thank you for your question and I apologize that you're experiencing negative results. Unfortunately, this can happen but it should clear up given another 2 or 3 weeks. If the problem continues to persist I would see your injector again and discuss your concerns.

Answer: Botox reaction? Thank you for your question. What you are describing could be an effect of a misplacement of Botox by an inexperienced injector, or it could be a sign of something completely unrelated. I recommend following up with a board certified plastic surgeon, as well as with an opthamologist, so that you can potentially get some relief and rule out anything serious that may be going on with your eye. Good luck!

Answer: Botox and pupil size? Hello missyp79,Botox would not be expected to change the pupil size as that muscle is located within the eyeball. In rare circumstances it can temporarily weaken the muscles that move the eye causing double vision. I would recommend you follow up with your injector and also an eye doctor to evaluate. The good news is that anything that is caused by Botox would be completely reversible as the effects go away in about 3 months. I hope this helps and good luck.
