I am about to have a Sciton BBL treatment. I know it targets the small capillaries on my face, but would it affect the large veins on my face? I plan to have those veins removed later in the summer as they protrude. Would it be safe to get a BBL in a week and then have those large veins removed a month and a half from now?

BBL is a fantastic device on many levels, but it is not great for pore size reduction. BBL will help even skin tone and remove sun damage and redness. It is also known to have anti-aging effects on the skin. Pores are better treated with radio frequency and micro needling. Best of luck, Dr. M
BBL can absolutely be performed on dark skin with cautious settings and if you have had good results, you should have no long term problems. There is Stanford research showing slowing of aging with BBL - there is none of that with MN. Hate to say it, but that really sounds like someone trying ...
