What can I do for these white bumps around my nose and lower eyelid, and acne scars? What are they? (photos)

I am a 23 y.o. female. In my teens I had severe acne and to make it worse I had a habit of picking on them. And now I am left with a very troubled skin. Also a big cause of my insecurity is these white bumps all around my nose and lower eyelid that worsen when I apply makeup. Do I have enlarged pores? Acne scars? Milia? And what treatment can I get to treat these three of my insecurities? Thank you in advance.

At least from the photos provided, you appear to have many ice pick scars, as well as dilated pores for which TCA CROSS would be a very simple, relatively inexpensive, time-tested, safe and effective option. There also appear to some milia and some active acne. Taking all of this into consideration, you would be wise to consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist who can help you both to control the acne and to treat the acne scars and dilated pores. Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

A combination approach will give the most improvement. I recommend lasers, microneedling/PRP, Peels like Cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (EmerageSkin roller with anteage AERIFY MD ampules weekly, I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist.
