Lump after FUE hair transplant. Is this normal?

I had a hair transplant 5 months ago and now have a lump on the back of my head at the top of the donor area . It’s tender to touch and doesn’t move . Is this normal or ?

Tender lumps are not normal.  It may be in your interest to contact your doctor for a follow up exam and possibly receive treatment.

This lump might represent an ingrown hair or mild folliculitis.I would recommend following up with your surgeon for an evaluation.

You have a tender lump in the donor area where you had FUE. This is most likely a burried grafts from the FUE and it may have to be drained, so see your doctor

Lumps on people's scalps are common - with or without hair transplant surgery. This might be a small cyst or it might be an ingrown hair or it might be part of the scar healing. Tough to tel over the internet. Call up your doc and ask to get checked out! Bottom line is that any lump cause is usually minor and treatable.
