Is lidocaine injected in to the scalp for fue hair transplant? What type of Anesthedia is used? Is lidocaine toxicity a risk with a large area treated? How will I be monitored for potential toxicity? Will I receive any IV fluids during the procedure? How long on average to extract the units? Who does the extractions and transplantation? How long will the transplanted hair last? patients have facial swelling and Edema from the procedure in the face and scalp and how long will this last?

Lidocaine toxicity is always a risk with any anesthesia.  A doctor should be aware of the risk and make sure you will be safe.Some doctors may not use lidocaine and some doctor may even use IV sedation.  You need to ask these questions to your doctor for the specifics of your surgery,

Yes, We provide all of our patients wit Valium and then we numb our patients up with Lidocaine and local anestesia. You will not feel any pain.
