Is lidocaine injected into the scalp for a FUE hair transplant?

Is lidocaine injected in to the scalp for fue hair transplant? What type of Anesthedia is used? Is lidocaine toxicity a risk with a large area treated? How will I be monitored for potential toxicity? Will I receive any IV fluids during the procedure? How long on average to extract the units? Who does the extractions and transplantation? How long will the transplanted hair last? patients have facial swelling and Edema from the procedure in the face and scalp and how long will this last?
