I have a dental crown on my upper left lateral incisor. It is porcelain fused to zirconia. Maybe I am just really OCD and overanalyzing, and I know that a crown can't always replicate your natural enamal 100%, but does this crown, especially the margins near the gums appear too opaque? Should I have the dentist replace it? Ps. Maybe it has to do with the various angles of the camera too.

Hello and thank you for your great question. Gold crown certainly can and should be adjusted in the mouth, if it is bothering you. It is fairly simple to do and should be done asap as situation with a high bite can lead negative consequences like discomfort and pain.All the best to you!
Hi: Unfortunately with an X-ray and a photo it is difficult to give you accurate advice. Generally if the decay is not too far down the root, with a root canal, post and a crown the tooth can be salvaged.Best,Dr. Maddahi
