Can a broken nose 6 months ago cause headaches now even though I had surgery to fix it?

I was in a bad car wreck - my nose hit the steering wheel and I had to have surgery to correct it. Now 6 months later I am having really bad headaches like sinus headaches only a little worse than normal.

Possible open roof deformity? Can you just shave down the sides where the bones stick out?

I don't think this is an open roof. Your middle vault is deficient on the left side and needs cartilage added there in the form of a spreader graft as well as a slight reduction in the height of the nasal bones.\

Does crusting, dried blood and mucus (debris) cause a slight pain inside nostrils along septum?

The best thing to do to help remove these crusts is to use nasal saline 5 or 6 times a day to help break them up. Yes, removeing them can cause pain and discomfort.

At 2.5 months after your surgery, it is difficult to say whether this area will persist or not.  Swelling is never uniform and swelling could be responsible for the concern that you see.  I would wait the full year, longer if this is a revision rhinoplasty, to see if this issue remains.  In th...
