I have been diagnosed with hypolasia after having coolsculpting procedure on my upper abdomen. From what I gather the only solution is liposuction. Where do I begin by finding the best dr for the job and what do I look for? What websites or referrals should I take. Ive been looking but finding myself going in circles cause I'm not sure what reviews to read or trust anymore. Any leads of great liposuction Drs would be greatly appreciated. Or a link to a website that can help guide me?

Answer: Finding A Liposuction Dr You are not alone in your concern about finding an appropriate plastic surgeon to do your liposuctioning. Here are some guidelines:1. Make sure your surgeon is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery-this is the only certifying agency for plastic surgery recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.2. Make sure the Dr has experience in your procedure and can illustrate that experience with pictures, reviews and patient feedback.3.Make sure that the Dr has privileges to perform that specific procedure in a hospital. Even if he/she does the procedure in a surgery center or in the office they need to have privileges for that same procedure in a hospital. This is another independent check that the Dr is legit.4. Ask the people who did the CoolSculpting whop the recommend. It the person they recommend does not fulfill the above criteria then they are suspect.5. Ask around, your family Dr., your friends, etc.6. You don't have to go with the first person you consult with. If you have the time and money I always try to get three opinions.
