Typically, VASER Liposuction maximum results will take up to 6 months so you still may have improvements in the way your body looks. Swelling is a common occurrence in the liposuction post-operative period. Your body may look swollen for months, but after 6 months you might appreciate your new and amazing abdominal zone. I would recommend you being patient and wearing the specialized compression garments for approximately 6 months to help skin contract smoothly to your body’s new contour. Additionally, at least ten lymphatic drainage massage sessions are required to remove the excess lymph fluid, totally alleviate the swelling and discomfort, and also prevent complications such as seromas (fluid collection) and contour irregularities (indentations, and/or fibrosis). Implementing healthy eating habits and regular exercise (taking advantage of your new increased metabolism) is essential to keep stimulating weight loss and avoiding retrieving the rendered fat. HiThe initial added weight is probably inflammatory fluid and fluid retention. I would advise regular lymphatic drainage massages or pressotherapy to help disperse the fluid. Also make sure your are drinking water and moving well. Bed rest is not a good idea. But do not worry, once the inflammation settles down your new shape will reveal itself. Make sure you diet is sensible too.
