This could possibly be an allergic reaction to your dressing. Please consult with your plastic surgeon for the proper diagnosis.

It looks like and allergy to an adhesive that is significant. This will be carefully managed by your surgeon. You might need oral steroids judging from the photos.

 I am sorry to hear about, what seems to be, a hypersensitivity reaction you are experiencing. Your plastic surgeon will be your best resource  for accurate diagnosis and treatment conditions; it is possible that he/she will prescribe stronger oral anti-inflammatories ( such as a short course of oral steroids) to help dampen the immune response. Otherwise, you may find the use of “nonstick” dressings helpful;  these dressings may be called zeroform or Adaptec, and are available in some pharmacies over the counter. Unfortunately, these types of hypersensitivity or allergic reactions may take a few weeks to resolve completely. Again, best to seek guidance from your plastic surgeon directly.
