Many of my cosmetic surgery patients are habitual coffee drinkers - for the several days that patients curtail their oral intake after surgery, coffee drinkers are especially prone to migraines. A strong cup of coffee generally does the trick. Just a thought.
No, but other things (life) continue to occur even in post op tummy tuck patients. Get a History and Physical from your PCP. Elevated blood pressure is common in your (our) age range and are a frequent silent cause for headaches. Migraines can be treated medically and frequently with Botox for an combined therapeutic and cosmetic effect. Good Luck. Send Followup when you get it figured out.
Thanks for your question. It does not appear to be a related outcome/side effect of the surgery. You should make an appt to talk to your primary care physician. Best of Luck!
There is no known correlation between headache and tummy tuck. If you are in the early post operative phase (less than a week), it can possibly be due to anesthesia and related issues. Headache beyond this time frame needs to be evaluated if it is significant.
I think you must be dealing with something other than a tummy tuck problem. I can't invent a reason that this should be happening and have anything to do with your operation. Intercourse is a complicated matter, and so are headaches.I sure hope it works out for you!
Hey there, Thanks for your question. Headaches aren't a side effect of an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Please consult with your physician.
Headaches are not a side effect of abdominoplasty surgery. Assuming your surgery was some time ago, this is even less likely to be associated with the medications and/or anesthesia. You should consult your primary care physician and possibly a neurologist for evaluation.
I'm sorry about the problem you are experiencing; this is not a complication of tummy tuck surgery that I have heard of. If the headaches continue, best to see a neurologist for more information, diagnosis, treatment recommendations. Best wishes.
