At only 1 week after after breast augmentation patients occasionally have some of these symptoms. I would discuss these symptoms with your plastic surgeon because your symptoms may or may not relate to your operation.

My question here is which way was the implant inserted? If it was through the armpit, it is normal to have some numbness there that will resolve with time.

During breast augmentation especially through the transaxillary approach pressure is exerted on the sensory nerves to the arm and arm pit area. These changes postop are usually transitory but you need an exam and opinion by your plastic surgeon.
