Myellevate - Is it all hype or worth it?

I need something done with my neck and under chin area, but am afraid of pulling the plug on surgery. I recently came across this procedure which promises great results. Is it all hype or worth it? Are the risks the same as a traditional necklift?

Thank you for your question. Our patients have really been enjoying their results with their "My Ellevate"  and it is a perfect procedure for those patients who are not quite ready for a face or neck lift. In our office we increase success by combining it with three dimensional RF skin tightening procedures  for the neck and jowls and thus further create a "snatched" jawline !  You ask about the risks - they are significantly less than traditional surgery. It's best that you be evaluated by a Board Certified Plastic, or Facial Plastic Surgeon who is well versed with both invasive and non-invasive procedures and could thus accurately guide you to the optimal procedure for you.

Much more information is needed, such as your height, weight, age and It's very important to post a full set of facial and neck photographs from all angles to make a determination about the correct procedure for you. A traditional neck lift involves surgical removal of the fat deposits below the platysma muscle, liposuction to remove the fat deposits above the muscle, and a platysma plasty to significantly improve your jaw line. Depending upon your age, you may need skin removal if you are over age 50. Non-invasive treatments cannot accomplish what a traditional neck lift can.
