4 years po and breasts appear squared, could this be capsular contracture and is implant removal with lift an option? (photos)

Hi I had breast augmentation 4 years ago and now they appear to be squarish looking especially the right one (the orange one). I was wondering if anyone can shed some light from photos alone. I think I would have them fully removed and an uplift if that’s the case but is that possible or have they been stretched out? (I was originally a 32b) Thankyou

Thanks for your question! I think that your implants seem widely spaced because of your natural anatomy (and perhaps a little bit implant selection). An explant is an option for you; although, I don't think you will need a lift at this point. I would suggest an in-person consultation for an evaluation. Good luck!

I don't see anything that is square, but one is somewhat larger than the other, and both have some sagging. You might consider going down in size and doing a lift. However, the lift will interfere with your tattoos. You could consider just having your lateral pockets tightened and see if you prefer that look.

Evidence of capsular contracture is not really noted in your photos.  Some signs of capsular contracture are the breast feeling hard, changing shape, or potentially pain.  I encourage you to return to your surgeon for an evaluation.  With early stages of capsular contracture medication is sometimes an option for improvement.
