I realize I cannot get ptosis surgery until dry eye is under control. I had punctual plugs that migrated so those are not an option. Xiidra is too expensive so I'm hoping tear duct cauterization could be done. Would that improve droopy lid? What happens if i get excessive tears, would my body eventually adjust? How long should I wait between procedures (cauterization and ptosis surgery)?
