3 weeks after Breast augmentation and I am very sensitive to cold. Should I be worried about this?

It is very common to have sensations like this after breast augmentation early in the recovery period.  Cold will not damage them.

Thank you for your question. It is normal to have hypersensitivity after breast augmentation. The good news is that it goes away over time. You are not damaging your implants based on your description.

It is not uncommon to have hypersensitivity after breast surgery, be patient. Time is your friend. If you are truly concerned speak with your plastic surgeon. This is very common after a breast augmentation. Either patients experience hypersensitivity (being overly sensitive) or hyposensitivity (having little to no sensation) after surgery. This will eventually subside with time. It can sometimes take up to 3 months, and in rare cases up to a year for the sensation to normalize.
