Hello, thank you for the question. The treatment for lipoma, if it bothers you, would be surgical removal. Compressions wraps don’t really affect you and will not offer any treatment benefit. Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  Although a compression garment may help to minimize any contour irregularity from the lipoma it will not treat the lipoma - reducing its size or preventing its slow growth.  Hope this helps.

I do not believe that wearing a compression wrap on your lipoma would be of any benefit.  The traditional method of removing a lipoma is with surgery.  Most insurance companies that our office deals with do cover removal of lipomas.  You may try contacting your insurance again or have a surgeon's office contact them for you.
