Hi I'm very desperate for some professional advice. When I reached 21 I lost all my facial weight and my cheeks sank in I look like a skeleton. I am a healthy weight. I went to a plastic surgeon in ire and he said I've no muscles in my face.that he could do nothing only fillers for my prominent lines that would only last a few months.I can't live my life to my full potential as I'm very depressed. The picture I send actually does justice to my face

It is hard to tell from just this photo, but your upper cheek area seems to be fairly full.  However you have a fairly marked hollowing directly under the cheek bone.  Younger patients frequently like this sculpted look but as we age it can become more pronounced and make us look older.  To give a more full appearance to the whole face you would want to either use fat or sculptra.  You look pretty slim, but most people have some fat somewhere that can be used to fill in the face.  Sculptra is a filler that creates a scaffolding for new collagen growth.  It can take a few months to see the full effect, and can last for about 1.5 years.

I am sorry to hear about your difficulties. There are
two reasonable options for your concerns.One would be fat transfer and the other is Sculptra injections.Fat transfer can have outstanding results but
is also subject to a certain amount of variability in the degree and longevity
of the results.Sculptra Aesthetic works
well to replenish lost collagen and facial volume. For many patients, I
recommend four vials of sculptra injected 6 weeks apart.Sculptra is composed of Poly-L-Lactic acid
and works gradually to build up collagen, restore volume and diminish folds and
wrinkles.You can expect to enjoy the
benefits of Sculptra for approximately 2 years.Sculptra can be combined with other treatments such as Botox, Restylane,

It is difficult  to tell the exact location of the hollowness, however  cheek implants can be placed over the maxilla if the hollowness is located in the maxillary area. Fat injections or injectable fillers are used if the hollowness is located in the buccal fat space. For more examples, please see the link below

You may be a candidate for fat grafting in which your own fat is harvested and then prepared and injected into your face to achieve more facial fullness.  This would be more permanent than facial fillers.  Please consult with a board certified specialist who can assist you with achieving the results you seek.

Hi Sinead,I agree with starting with a temporary filler to see how you like the look, before committing to a longer lasting treatment.  I like Voluma in the cheeks, and Juvederm or Radiesse in the chin/jowls, tear trough and temples.  Voluma lasts two years on average, and is still hyaluronic acid like Juvederm (12-18mths duration) so can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.  See how you like it, sometimes having a filler treatment like Voluma or Juvederm every 1-2 years for five years reduces the need down the road because of the ongoing stimulation of new collagen.

The loss of volume in our cheeks is a very common, but frustrating issue. We have seen a lot of success with a volumizer called Sculptra. It can be injected in the cheeks, and with the appropriateamount of treatments you can see a significant difference. Sculptra is not a typical filler, because it actually helps you grow your own collagen over time. Plus Sculptra can last more than 2 years. I would recommend making a consultation appointment with a local dermatologist or plastic surgeon, and see if you are an appropriate candidate for this procedure.

Thank you for your question.In terms of filling up lines and plumping up your face I would start with a temporary filler (Juvederm, Restylane) that lasts 6-9 months.  If your desired look is achieved it could be recreated with a semi-permanent filler (Radiesse) that lasts for over a year. While the photo is not ideal for evaluation, you appear to have a long and narrow face that is lacking in bony structure in the cheek and "midface" region.  While fillers (including fat injections) are a start, I'd consider facial implants to add structure to this region.  I think you would be quite happy with this, but find a surgeon well-versed in this kind of surgery

While most women lose facial fat, it is usually over time as we age.  There are solutions to your issue, so there is no need to give up!  A product called Sculptra is meant for loss of fat and volume.  This will last approximately 2 years.  You may need a few sessions of the product.  Cheek implants may also be an option, as this will give permanent shape and fullness to your face.
