Hello, I had Bio-alcamid injected into my lower and upper lips 14 years ago. My upper lip is significantly bigger and I would like to even them out by now injecting some Restylane into the lower one. I’m aware that the best solution would be to have them taken out and re-inject with fat but I can’t do that right now. The lower lip has implants on the right and left side- would it be ok to inject the Restylane in the middle?

Answer: Bio-Alcamid and Restylane are both types of dermal fillers, but they have different properties and uses.
It may be that your filler has migrated. You can consider having it dissolved with hyaluronidase for improvement. If you do nothing it will gradually improve on its own as the filler is metabolized.
Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photos. You would require one syringe of filler under your eyes to treat the darkness. Restylane is the best choice for this area. Find an expert in the slightly more risky area.
Good luck,
