Nose bleeds can be from a number of reasons. They usually start due to dryness and this can be worse in winter months with the heater running, or in summer months with the dry hot weather (depending on where you live). Often times, dissolving stitches are used to re-appose the mucosal flaps in a septoplasty. It is possible that this stitch is starting to dissolve or loosen up. I would make an appointment with your surgeon for an in-person exam. Your doctor can trim the stitch for you at that time. Best of luck!
