It is not uncommon for septal deviations to recur.  It is more common with puberty, after trauma, or following surgery. Spurs don't usually "re-grow", if they are completely removed. New ones can form, however.I hope this helps clarify things for you. Good luck!

Ear, nose and throat doctors and plastic surgeons have specialty training and experience in nasal septoplasty surgery. A primary care physician may confirm the diagnosis, but would not perform the septoplasty surgery to correct the problem.
