Hi, I had dermal filler in my temples and and NLF 18 months ago. I would like to improve my under eye area but have heard that some practitioners will treat with dermal filler and others wont. I also have some lower face laxity and the start of some jowls. Could this also be improved with filler? Thanks
Answer: Facial rejuvenation From the photos it appears you will have the best outcome from a combination of treatments. Fillers can be used to help improve the undereye area as well as the jawline. Juvederm Volux has been designed specifically for this area. You can also consider adding Morpheus8. These treatments combine RF technology with microneedling to improve overall skin tone and texture. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful

Answer: Dermal Filler Hello! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Aesthetic Skin in Winnetka and Chicago. This is a great question. Regarding lower face laxity and the start of jowls, dermal fillers can indeed be used strategically to improve this. By adding volume to the cheeks, particularly the upper and lateral aspects, a lifting effect can be created that indirectly reduces the appearance of mild jowling. Additionally, filler can be placed along the jawline to provide more definition and support, helping to camouflage the early stages of jowl formation. The goal is to restore lost volume in the areas that provide structural support to the lower face, resulting in a smoother and more defined contour. I hope this helps and best of luck!

Answer: Using Dermal Fillers for Under-Eye and Jowl Enhancement: Options and Considerations When considering dermal fillers for the under-eye area and jowls, there are several factors to keep in mind. Here's a brief overview of how fillers might help and other potential treatment options: Under-Eye Area Tear Trough Fillers: Dermal fillers can be effective for improving the appearance of under-eye hollows or tear troughs. They can add volume and smoothness, reducing the appearance of dark circles and tiredness. However, this area is delicate, and treatment should be performed by an experienced practitioner to minimize risks such as swelling or unevenness. Jowls and Lower Face Laxity Fillers for Jowls: Fillers can be strategically placed in the jawline and chin to improve the appearance of early jowls and provide a more defined contour. This can create a lifting effect and reduce the appearance of sagging. Other Options: Sculptra: This filler stimulates collagen production, providing gradual volume restoration and skin tightening, which may benefit both the under-eye and jowl areas. Thread Lifts: A minimally invasive option that uses temporary sutures to lift and tighten sagging skin. Radiofrequency or Ultrasound Treatments: These non-invasive approaches, such as Ultherapy or Thermage, can tighten skin and improve firmness without adding volume. Microneedling with Radiofrequency: This treatment can improve skin texture and firmness, potentially enhancing the appearance of both the under-eye area and jowls. Before proceeding, consult with a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who can evaluate your specific concerns and provide personalized recommendations. They will ensure that any treatment plan is safe and aligned with your aesthetic goals.

Answer: Noninvasive facial rejuvenation. The best way to address your facial aging is with your own fat. Fat grafting when done properly produces natural and permanent results. The right kind of fat has to be used for this procedure. You should look at least 15 to 20 years younger with practically no recovery time. You should look exactly the way you used to some 20 years or more prior to this procedure. I hope this helps and good luck from organic Plastic Surgery Nyc.
