Do I have ptosis as an Asian male? (Photos)

Two summers ago, I got a double eyelid surgery. I hadn't heard of ptosis before this. After the procedure, the doc mentioned that my eyes weren't "as big as he thought they would be" and mentioned that I may have ptosis, which is the first time I heard about it. Since I always wear glasses (which makes my eye problem unnoticeable), no one has ever said anything about my eyes, so I'm not sure if I have what would qualify at ptosis. I can't tell since asian eye anatomy is different.

Yes you appear to have upper eyelid ptosis. Best to see an oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation and consideration of ptosis surgery. That is different than upper blepharoplasty but can be combined if desired.

Thank you for your question. These photos are too far a way to show enough detail but you do appear to have ptosis. You need to make an appointment for an in person exam and consultation with an Oculoplastic surgeon.. There is o substitute for a physical exam of your eyelids to make an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. You may have to travel to Austin or Dallas to see someone, but it is what is needed for you
